We viewed the video of Karen Woolley's keynote address at the Annual Conference in Dallas last year. Titled "Getting Respect—Two Steps Forward and ?", and used the address to kick off a discussion of the controversy surrounding the use of professional medical writers (vs ghostwriters) to publish medical studies.
We want to congratulate everyone on the wild success of our first chapter conference in many years last August. It was so successful that Cindy Hamilton, then President of AMWA and one of the workshop leaders for our conference, pushed us to build on our success and plan a new conference quickly, using the same facilities.
